About Rajrang:
Rajrang by Rupayan is a folk performers group who started performing under the guidance of ethnomusicologist Padma Bhushan Komal Kothari founder Rupayan sansthan. These elite musicians, having the artistry to present the sonorous tunes from the vast desert of India, appeal directly to the subconscious.

About the album:
Rhythmic Expression is conceived and coordinated by Kuldeep Kothari for special workshops designed to teach traditional folk dances.

Songs:
A number of Rajasthani folk songs capture the interactions that take place in close, immediate relationships. These exchanges vary in their tone; while some might be humorous or playful, others speak of maternal/paternal affection, some might even be sensual. 'Rhythmic Expression' is a collection of folk dance songs that depict the dynamics of these relationships.
